We'll I definitely screwed up somewhere.... After I created the contract and the first 20 nfts were minted they were in my opensea account. However, no pictures came through and the left side nft data wasn't there.

Before I started down this road I did create a collection on Opensea with the same name of my collection I just minted. Opensea however created a new collection with "v2" after my name with my freshly minted nfts. Could this be my problem?

Hey there, ive been fiddling with stuff and i found my problem, might be the same for u guys. Basically my Metadata file had a capital M but in my json files in the metadata folder it was a small m. I googled it and apparently everything after the .com/ is case sensitive, so i had to change the Metadata folder on my server to metadata with a small m. As for the V2 issue i think the only way is to change the name of your collection because the data is on the blockchain and im not sure if its possible to remove it. Hope this helps!

thanks for the reply @iisjiaweii I just checked my URL and made sure it's correct with it being case sensitive and mine is correct....glad it fixed yours though.

@sharimhh I'm in the same boat...when I updated my collection page and took away the v2 and added a collection image it changed all my NFTs I'm holding to that of the collection the image as well. I guess Opensea can recognize there is no picture and just uses the collection image as a placeholder.

Did the metadate come through for you guys and give you the property details on the left like this:

Mine did not come through so wondering about you guys?

Same Problem here. @3Ddesignbros whe adding a collection image it fills all NFTs with that. @sharimhh metadata didn't come through either. Wondering if it something about ERC-721. When I mint within Opensea it creates a ERC-1155.

Guys, did you refresh your metadata on opensea. Top right in the icons, there is a refresh icon. Click in and wait about a minute, then refresh the page. ALSO, try dumping your page cache in your browser. Another thing it can be is the JSON files have the wrong CID because when you created the images folder, you were supposed to go back and update the URI in the config.js file. Then run a json file update. HOWEVER, this is all still super complicated. Did anyone else get it to work? or did the placeholders get replaced after some time?
