Problem/Motivation

Can't install module: node-red-contrib-rfxcom

Expected behavior

Should be able to install

Actual behavior

Installation failed

Steps to reproduce

Go to "Manage palette" and try to install "node-red-contrib-rfxcom"

Proposed changes

Don't really know. The log complains about missing module serialport. But I can see in the Dockerfile that it should be there:

npm rebuild --build-from-source @serialport/bindings-cpp

Here is the log:

npm ERR! gyp ERR! stack Error: Could not find any Python installation to use

Seems like it needs Python, you need to install that system dependency.
Please note, the serial binding looks outdated in that module.

Closing this issue, as it is not an add-on problem, but an issue with improperly configured environment.
