Trino (https://trino.io/) or PrestoDB (https://prestodb.io/) - both of which have a JDBC driver would be a great enhancement to Hasura as these are distributed query engines with support for many connectors (https://trino.io/docs/current/connector.html) like MySql, Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Hive etc under a SQL interface and Hasura could act like the GraphQL layer on top to make for a very powerful system that can query data lakes combining data from many separate databases. Being able to create relationships across databases, and then creating a GraphQL API on top would be an ideal use-case for Hasura.

This is unfortunately blocker for us to use Hasura. :(
