Panning and Zooming are common functions which many expect to be present on interactive visualizations. For larger trees (>500 nodes) this functionality will be necessary as a full tree cannot be comfortably or legibly written out to the default space allocated for a tree and users will need to pan around a tree or zoom out to see it in its entirety.
