I deleted about 5 GB of old files of my sparkleshare folder, but the used space in the serve still the same. How can I free space used by old deleted files in the server?

this is not possible yet due to git's nature.
the only solution at the moment is to recreate the repo, and re-add it the clients.

i'm working to fix this. progress can be followed in #437.
