I made a quick change to the summary-block-column template that changed the color of methods / properties belonging to a parent class (in the index at the top of the page).

It makes it easier to quickly identify elements belonging to a parent class, however, it might be a better idea to create separate index sections (rather than just changing the color).

Could you create a mockup of what you have in mind? It doesn't have to be fancy, just something that gets the idea across visually.

Something like this would be extremely helpful in the index at the top of the page

Right now it just lists all of the elements / methods of a class without distinguishing (in the index) where they came from.
