you should make generating this additional option something that can be chosen in settings rather than automatically adding it and forcing a custom code workaround in the functions.php file.

probably needs to link together with #60. If it's required then no-term would be disabled. then perhaps throw in a little validation and throw a notice if there's no term selected?
