Hi,

The chart does not use HostPort nor Service so that Application can connect to APM Server in the feasible way.

I suggest that we create the Service Object for this chart. I'm happy to provide the PR also.

Running into the same issue. do you already have snipped somewhere? I could try it out as well. Service Object seems also simpler to me, no need to pass the Node IP.

You can try to use this one, actually the chart does not provide Host Nework either.

Same story here. I'm not sure how this chart can be used in it's current state. Any plans to address this issue?

I'm going to add another voice to this conversation since the issue keeps going stale. It is very unclear why this was promoted to stable when it doesn't seem to work. Is the documentation just not clear enough on the intended use?

I used some of the code from @chrisduong to get a service up, but I still cannot get my agents to publish data. We use the Django client and all the built in checks pass. No errors in the logs, and I can curl the apm-server from the pod. Still going to work at troubleshooting this in hopes that the maintainer of this chart will step up and help us get to a working state.
