Everytime I run the Heroku CLI, I see this; Warning: heroku update available
What is the expected behavior?
Two improvements:
Allow us to be only notified if our version is severely out of date, e.g. several minor versions, or a major version. I don't care for patch updates and generally not for minor updates either, just don't have the time to upgrade every tool that I use every couple of days, so the warning just becomes annoying.
Show the command to upgrade in the warning, so I don't have to go searching for how to upgrade the CLI when I do see the warning.
Thanks!

Has it almost been a year ago that I posted this with no action/reply? I must have been ignore those warnings because I don't seem to notice them anymore. They must have blurred in with the background of my console 😆
Similar @adamreisnz there are a few issues that have mentioned this. I've just now started to get annoyed by it enough to try to update and found the same as you I can't update to the "latest" cause the update command states I'm already on the latest version 🤣
Do you want to request a feature or report a bug?
