GITHUB-PAGES (SEE TANGIBLES): https://hetvit27.github.io/team9trimester2/
BACKEND: https://hetvitrivedi.tk
COMMIT HISTORY: https://github.com/hetvit27/team9trimester2/graphs/commit-activity

Hetvi

  • Create a Freenom domain and deploy the backend site
  • Certbot to secure site
  • Create frontend: Github-pages
  • Wrote Agile Manifesto
  • FRQ 3 Backend Finalize
  • FRQ 3 Frontend Calculator
  • Make sure all links are working
  • Deployment Blog

Reflection: For next week, I hope to work more on testing the frontend on local host. This week, I faced problems with installing bundler. I saw that Mr. M shared a link on slack to troubleshoot these problems. I will run those steps this week. Also spent a lot of time dealing with the tediousness of deployment so hopefully moving forward I can troubleshoot easily. This week, I mainly just focused on backend and deployment using linux. Frontend work was very basic but still accomplished linking backend to main github-pages.

Brian

  • Fix backend brian_spring for team to work on + share
  • Person/steps FRQ Backend Finalize
  • Person/steps FRQ Frontend --> frontend is working but data output is raw. For next week, work on displaying data in table that is more user-friendly.
  • Make sure all links are working

Ellen

  • Finalize Lightboard Backend (FRQ 4)
  • Create Lightboard Frontend (FRQ 4)
  • Make sure all links are working
  • Individual ticket

Iris

  • Finalize Calendar Backend (FRQ 1)
  • Create Calendar Frontend (FRQ 1)
  • Make sure all links are working

Kian

  • Change theme of github-pages
  • Customize layout
  • Add a post layout
  • Add dark mode to Minimal Theme
  • Edit style with SASS

Mr. M's feedback

  • Optimize the theme. Create menu or intro on the left side to use space wisely.
  • Good work overall
