The spell check works, but suggestions for underlined words only work properly for the first word in the line. Otherwise, when you right click the word and look the spelling suggestions list, you will see only corrupted suggestions, i.e. single letters or simply "no suggestions". And this message appears at the terminal:

** (hexchat:22154): CRITICAL **: enchant_dict_suggest: assertion `len' failed

I tried setting text_spell_langs to both ru and ru_RU. My locale variables are LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LANGUAGE=ru_RU:ru.

I tested this both on Debian Stable and Debian Unstable i386, with latest source from git and packages aspell-ru, irussian and hunspell-ru installed (I also tried with myspell-ru instead of hunspell-ru).

You can reproduce this with any Russian word, but as requested by @TingPing at freenode, I'm posting an example to non-russian speakers.

If you type as a first word чертх, you will get as a first suggestion черт, which is the correct recommendation. But if you then type чертх again (as a second word), then you won't get "черт" as a suggestion any more, instead you will see groups of two letters or single letters. If you type чертх again then you will get "no suggestions".

I'll be waiting for your answers.

Thanks for putting your effort into this project.
