Incorrect display of 3D chart with high depth in certain beta values.

Expected behaviour

By increasing the beta parameter in a chart with a high depth (e.g. 2500), the chart moves smoothly without any 'jumps', just like a chart with a depth of e.g. 400.

Actual behaviour

When increasing the beta parameter, a chart with high depth quickly goes away and jumps back, i.e. with some beta values it seems to be too far away.
