  1. Open http://jsfiddle.net/highcharts/FvT6Z/show in IE8
  2. Do a zoom by mouse-drag. Make sure to drag over some grid lines and text elements.
  3. Text becomes selected (see image)

The issue is a regression introduced in 3.0.8 by 73b8d8e, a fix for issue #2251.
