BGM updates
Various updates from Kilicool64 to ensure BGM consistency and add new BGM options. SE have not been changed.
GIN's BGM / OGBGM
- msys30.ogg/Meditation has been normalized to use the Hou Compilation (2014) version instead of the Original JP release/Old Mangagamer BGM version(2002) for consistency (all other tracks are already from the Hou Compilation (2014))
- Other BGM have been re-converted at a higher bitrate, but otherwise are the same BGM
April 2019 BGM
- Added "April2019BGM" folder containing one BGM file, msys29.ogg / "Heigen wo Iku (Going to the Plains). This file is the same as the one that comes with the unmodded game, but higher quality.
Hou+ Demo BGM
- Renamed folder from HouPlusBGM to HouPlusDemoBGM to avoid confusion with Hou+ BGM option. Otherwise unchanged
Hou+ BGM

Changelog
- Updated arcs 1-9 to make use of roughly 3000 voice lines extracted from Higurashi Origin.
- Origin is DLC for the Switch/PS4 version of Higurashi that allows you to play through arcs 1-9 in a format more like the original PC version, with the route system removed and some (but not all) censorship reverted.
- Changes come in roughly 3 categories:
- Some unvoiced lines now have voices.
- Some low quality PS2 voice lines replaced with higher quality Origin voices.
- Some places where the mod uses PS3 lines that mostly match the original script have been replaced with new voice lines that 100% match the original script.
- Some of the lines touched here would previously show you the censored or uncensored text based on your Voice Matching Level. Those places tweaked to always use the uncensored voice lines when available.

Changes for Answer Arcs
- Fix pre-april update question arcs BGM playing when you have "New BGM" selected 07th-mod/meakashi#80
- Our mod uses some question arcs BGM for the Answer Arcs when you have "New BGM" option selected
- Whenever question arcs BGM played in the answer arcs, previously it would play the pre-april update version of the BGM, even if you had "New BGM" selected.
- Now it should play the post-apriil update version of the BGM if you have the "New BGM" option selected
- The GIN's BGM / Original BGM option shouldn't be affected (it doesn't use question arcs BGM in the Answer Arcs)

Known issues not fixed in this update

Changelog (Full)
General Bug Fixes
- Fix a crash if you toggle any art style options too many times (about 10 times) without advancing the text.
- Fix the "Skip CGs" option not working in some cases
Stuck Sprite Fixes
- Fix cases of the 'stuck sprite' bug related to lipsync, by swapping textures instead of calling drawBustShot.
- Even with this fix, we've still had some reports of multiple of the same sprite on the screen at the same time, but it seems to go away at the next scene transition.
- This issue only affects chapters 6-8
- This issue seems to happen at certain points in the game if you click to advance text while an animation is running, depending on the timing of your clicks. Users who like to click through the voices likely have a higher chance of seeing this bug.
- Send us a screenshot if you see this issue happening
- The github issue for stuck sprites is at SPOILERS
https://github.com/07th-mod/higurashi-assembly/issues/45
SPOILERS, but since it contains screenshots of the game, it contains spoilers.
Original/Ryukishi mode fixes
- Fix sprite positions not matching original game when there are 3 sprites on the screen at once.
- Our base mod has spaced out some sprites to better fit the widescreen aspect ratio in some cases. This fix attempts to put them back to their original position when you are using 4:3 Original backgrounds.
- Fix portrait (zoomed in sprite) images not being cropped when using 4:3 mode (you would need to use Console sprites with OG backgrounds)
- Fix lipsync when using Console sprites in Ryukishi mode (when the UI is 4:3)
Mod Menu Updates
- Fixes issues raised in: 07th-mod/higurashi-assembly#61
- Added tabs for Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, and Troubleshooting to separate options
- Graphics presets are now "Console/Mangagamer/Original" instead of "ADV/NVL/Ryukishi"
- Made sprite/background/text window options less confusing by making the following options independent of each other:
- Sprite style (used to be changed when changing the "art set")
- Background style (used to be changed via an override, and would reset when "art set" changed)
- Background stretching (used to be part of the background selection)
- Text window appearance (used to depend on the graphics preset)
- Dedicated "Custom" graphics preset
- Custom preset is no longer indicated by a asterisk (*) next to a default preset - instead it appears as its own preset
- This preset is activated when you modify any of the default presets (or just click "Custom")
- The values in the "Custom" preset are saved, even if you activate one of the default presets. This allows you to switch between your custom preset and any of the default presets to see how it looks
