Choose a random node from the homepage, or cross tracks using non-story edges, or find a node using search. Since there's no left-hand map, it feels a bit barren. We could auto-select the first story, if there is a story, but that doesn't cater for nodes outside stories, eg http://ubuntu:8000/person/jacques-de-vaucanson/.
