I was searching for wine stuff on reddit and found this project! Really liked it, seems beautiful and direct.

Do you have any plans to release it in AUR? Would be really nice to have it.

This program can be compared to the script for starting the game with wine, which is part of this game.
The program that will be part of the game cannot be distributed in any repositories.

@hitman249 I don't quite understand some of what you said. Either way, the AUR does not distribute software. It only contains recipes (PKGBUILDs) for building software.

For example, Google Chrome is not allowed to be distributed. That's why it's in the AUR and not the Arch repositories.

I wrote a PKGBUILD building from source. However, it creates it's files in the directory where the built package was installed from. Likewise, when running the binary release, it creates it's files in the same place the binary resides. No matter how this program is run no matter from what source, it should be using XDG standards and place files in $HOME/.local/.

You will have as many copies of WL as you have games.
WL is not installed globally, it is copied locally to every game.
