This project is a community project, unaffiliated with Xilinx Inc (or AMD), created to improve collaborations between the users of various Xilinx based DMA kernel drivers.

My goal is that by adding a path for users to send and share their contributions in a centralized way, we can reduce work duplication.

My secondary goal is to address many shortcomings of the driver that I feel that were ignored in the officially published releases. These often include backward compatibility, and error handling.

Finally, my goal is to help package these kernel modules so that they may be more easily installed by end users.

Github Workflows for testing

This #3 enables building the module against different kernel modules. Expanding on this (for RedHat based distros for example) would be a welcome PR.

Mother Pull Request

This pull request collects the patches which i've applied over the years of using QDMA. #4
