We've been using GeoJSON.io for shapes, points, lines. Now we're using leaflet inside MEL Catalog.

GeoJSON.io:

Some shapes are not congruous; get clarification from Adam
Used to delineate parish boundaries; is leaflet/MEL Cat better?
Can we offer discovery of existing GIS information?
