If you are using SonoffLAN (https://github.com/AlexxIT/SonoffLAN/) than this is a custom component and thus not supported by the core dev team. The issue already has been reported at their repository (AlexxIT/SonoffLAN#1288)

using cloud integration, but how this is related to destroying mentiones functions? Last year i did all updates without problem till now, where UI were changed for automations and other functions. Automations were marked as not existing !!!

Well, Home Assistant does not include any integration for Sonoff. We (the core development team of Home Assistant) do not endorse using or support such a custom component. So if a custom component is not compatible with a new version of Home Assistant, it is the duty of the custom component maintainer to fix this issue.

Besides, a generic issue, like "this or that isn't working", isn't very helpful nor it leads to a fast resolution of your problem. Provide as much data as you can and describe your problem as much as possible.

A log file from the 2024.1 would be helpful

Automations were marked as not existing !!!

Do you mean their state is unavailable?

That would be normal for an automation that references a non-existent entity such as when your custom integration, SonoffLAN, fails.

ok, yes automations were unavailable where they have toggle action to Sonoff switch. But how do you explain me, what happend when i rolled back to the last working core and all was working immediatelly well? No provider failure, no network failure, no sensor failure, all i have checked until i did rollback as last chance.

There is a working fix on SonoffLAN config.

As I mentioned above, there is a issue with the custom SonoffLAN integration you are using, which does not work with 2024.1, resulting in the automation not being available.

As @raminhos wrote, there seems to be a fix available.

to be clear, i am using oficial /config/integrations/integration/sonoff and not from HACS, is this the same problem?

There is no official Sonoff integration shipped with Home Assistant.

You could try fix the line in the config file in your version of sonoff. Maybe they share same fix

  • Because the custom integration you're using, SonoffLAN, works in the previous version of Home Assistant and so it is able to create the entities that are referenced by your automations.

  • The SonoffLAN integration doesn't work in the latest version of Home Assistant and so it is unable to create the entities that are referenced in your automations and so they become unavailable.

You should be discussing this with the author of SonoffLAN because they are responsible for ensuring their custom integration works with Home Assistant.

I have been noticing a lot of my long running automations have been failing since the latest update too,

@Mutley247365

Your REST command appears to be acting on a Sonoff switch. If you're using the SonoffLAN custom integration then it's the cause of the problem. If that's the case then contact the author of the SonoffLAN custom integration.

Same problem exists with Lupusec switches (native integration).
