I've run recorder.purge service to purge and repack everything above 5 days. It was a relatively large DB, over 10GB.
It's running on proxmox VM with 4 cores Ryzen 4600G and 16GB of RAM. When run, RAM peaked at 97% right away, and CPU was jumping around 10-35% for some time.
After an hour I noticed that new DB takes up only 18MB and there's a backup of corrupt DB saved, still full 10GB.
Possibly another issue: after everything, RAM usage remained at 96%. It was not released?
What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?
I've found the database very unstable, this has happened a few times already, on different systems, including non-VM on raspberry and without manual trigger from my side.
