Ecovacs Integration: Ecovacs Goat G1-800 Map not available

The problem

Hi together,

I recently added an Ecovacs Goat G1-800 to my HA installation and had no problems to add it. Buttons like Start, Pause, Return to Base are working proberly. The only point what isn't correct working is the map. The map entry has the status unknown and I see some GetMapTrace log entries like this:
2024-05-05 10:41:04.822 WARNING (MainThread) [deebot_client.command] No response received for command "getMapTrace". This can happen if the device has network issues or does not support the command

I hope this and the provided logs can help to find out the issue. If there is anything to do/provide, let me know.

I just updated my homeassistant and now the goat is available as lawn_mover but after the update the map entity turned now from unknown to unavailable instead of showing the map. Means this it is currently not possible to have the map in ha ? If so what would it take to have it available ?

You need to analyse what's different between the G1 map and the vacuum map. I cannot help you as I don't have a G1.

Unfortunately Ecovacs is not sharing any API documentation and so we need to analyse and find out the difference ourself
