roborock_state_update_new.mp4on the latest dev - I am able to get instant state updates by controlling it in HA and in the app. I will try leaving my dev instance running for a day and see if i can recreate this. If you restart HA, and then do it - is it instant? |
Just done a HA restart and attempted to start a clean, stop, pause and return to dock and they all updated instantly with the app and through HA. So it seems like it's related to when the robot is docked for a long period of time. I'll test again later tonight and see if the delay is back as I've experienced before. Will report back on my findings and will attach a video like yours if the problem still occurs. |
I am able to recreate it on my real instance, but i haven't been able to leave my dev instance running for long enough to be able to debug it yet |
That's good to know at least. I'm already back in the delayed state again as well. If you need any assistance or logs etc from me that would help. Let me know. Happy to help |
Hey! This delay is bugging my automations too. I'm not a dev, but if any help needed just let me know! |
The problem
There is a noticeable lag (over 30 sec) after the 2024.5 update of the current state of the vacuum. Not sure what changed but the lag is pretty bad. I'm using state changes in my vacuuming automations which now do not work as designed.
I have a Roborock Q7 Max+
The below example took over 40 seconds to update to cleaning status. The delay seems to be on every status change as well.

The longer the robot has been docked for the worse it seems to be for me as well.
