The problem

I've done a reset and connected the AC to the wifi 2.4 (I can see the AC in the connected clients in the router)

And I can control the AC from the Gree+ native app, But I cannot control it from Home Assistant
like when I turn on panel light it shows the change was made but the AC doesn't receive that command

Hey there @cmroche, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (gree) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Resolved, The tutorial is for Tadiran (Gree) AC's

I have Asus XD5 Mesh, Downgraded to version: 3.0.0.4.386 (optional)
Put AC in pairing mode (unplug from wall -> plug -> press mode + wifi till you hear a beep -> unplug > plug)
Open Gree+ (or any other app) and click add device
It will ask you to connect to the AC wifi, then connect to your home wifi
It will ask you to put the home wifi password (make sure its correct)
Go to HA, Delete Gree integration and add it again
And you are done
