Home Assistant release with the issue:

0.104.1

Last working Home Assistant release (if known):
not sure, probably before 0.94

Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.):

hassio in docker on ubuntu on nuc

Integration:

Locative
https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/locative
Description of problem:
reopening #28877

Using the integration locative webhook, the state is correctly got by HA and new device_tracker created. Since then all updates work correctly. BUT Locative is not restoring the state after restart/reboot, that's mean that device_tracker is disappearing and cause person's state to become unknow as well.

Problem-relevant configuration.yaml entries and (fill out even if it seems unimportant):

no config required, all done thru integrations

Traceback (if applicable):

Additional information:
previously was #28877 but it was closed.

This is a feature request. State restoration isn't implemented for locative device tracker yet.

@MartinHjelmare It was implemented before 0.94, that it is not now, it's more bug than a "request". The functionality of locative component was broken and currently not working correctly.
You can call this feature request as "Fix Locative Bug"

I had and still have the same bug for some time. I've opened last year a thread via home assistant forums: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/locative-via-webhooks-does-not-retain-state-after-reboot/151861
