The problem

Since 2021.5.3 (I think) these errors are dissolved in the Safari browser, randomly, but frequently. Always and only on image resources (used in custom button cards, but I dont think that is relevant, as not updated for many months now), which are not displayed in that case.

They have been working since forever and the latest few minor patches started it.

What is version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

2021.5.4

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

2021.5.2?

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant OS

Not sure, and not indicated in the error

No yaml, it is a network issue? see the error in inspector, which shows the full and correct path to several images indicating the yaml config is alright, and has been for a long time

Only thing I could think of, might be file size? Does HA have a max file size (not that errors on that matter are displayed, but maybe that takes too long over the network? Otoh, Firefox and Chrome seem not to be bothered.
