The problem

Was able to add the Xiaomi Smartmi Air Purifier P1 through HomeKit Controller integration. It gives two sensor readings, but no way to control/interact with the device.

Attached the entity map. Looks like has some values for fan speed and filter percentage. How may I access this from HomeAssistant?

Hey there @Jc2k, @bdraco, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (homekit_controller) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

You can't currently use air purifiers with home assistant via homekit_controller. That service type is not implemented (so its a missing feature, rather than a bug).

Someone needs to come up wih a mapping from the homekit spec to the available home assistant types. I don't think we have a air purifier type right now in home assistant. The code is probably the easy part.

@Jc2k Ah yes you are right. I see that air purifier is not an available entity in HA at all. Closing this one since it's not a bug.
