Hey there @Kane610, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (unifi) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

What is smart power devices?

Items such as:
https://store.ui.com/collections/unifi-accessories/products/smartpower-strip
https://store.ui.com/collections/unifi-accessories/products/unifi-smart-power

Both can be controlled in the Unifi network UI to enable/disable power. Id like to be be able to setup an automation using HA to disable an outlet if its on more then an hour for instance.

Ok. So it's a feature request? You do that through the forums. I have ongoing work I started last year to add support for those though. Can't say when it will be released unfortunately

Oh sorry, there was a thread on the forums about it already here, https://community.home-assistant.io/t/unifi-usp-plug-smartpower-plug-support/355775/4 so I thought it was supposed to already be built in. You can close this then.

Where should I go on HA to request this feature?

There are some support for certain models already, like "UP1"
If it reports both outlets and that it has a relay it will be added as switch so this device is different.

I have a PR to add support for metering for certain of these devices (Kane610/aiounifi#113)

Normally feature requests are done on the HASS forums but I never look there. If you want you can put a request here https://github.com/Kane610/aiounifi/issues

But I'm gonna need a lot of data from you to support them properly.
