does Home Assistant use a pid file? #93

For SynoCommunity/spksrc#1654 I'm wondering whether Home Assistant uses pid-files so that the Synology operating system can detect whether Home Assistant is running.

Do you make use of them or are you planning to start using them?

I solved it (SynoCommunity/spksrc#1655) by using start-stop-daemon, so this issue can be closed.
