Hi, thank you for the report. Are you able to retrieve the diagnostic information from the integration detail menu? It will contain a little more raw data that will help diagnose the issue of its possible to attach to this report. |
Isn't it the info posted above? Here's the heading: Diagnostics information Logger: homeassistant.components.calendar |
|
There is a home assistant feature called diagnostics that downloads additional internal information. This is available in the home assistant UI and is different from the logs, and let's you attach a file to the issue. However you may have given me more than I need for a patch given that massive dump.... :) I'll have a look. (On mobile) |
Ahh...Found it. I hope it's OK, but I trimmed it down a bit.
|
Yeah this is fine, the part I needed is the ics timestamps with the data stripped out. Perfect thank you. |
I have #94894 tagged for a patch release that should address this. |
I didn't expect such a quick turnaround. Thanks so much. Should I be closing this? |
Nope, the issue will be closed automatically when the fix will be merged |
The problem
I had set up two calendars and set them both up to generate recurring events. When editing the events of one calendar, I was changing an all-day event to a 12-hour event. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I might've inadvertently created an event with zero duration. The result was all of the events disappeared, and even though the calendar was still listed, I was unable to add any more events.
In an attempt to rectify the issue, I attempted to delete and recreate the calendar. This attempt did not work as the entity for the calendar was not generated. At this time, the integration appears to be still working with one calendar and I can recreate new calendars, but not the one that's deadlocked. Apparently, there's still a vestige of it somewhere.
Here is the configuration panel image.
