AirVisual's air index unit is AQI (Air Quality Index), not PSI (Pressure per Square Inch). More details can be found at https://airvisual.com/

Cheers,

PSI in capital letters stands for pollutant standards index:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollutant_Standards_Index.

The pressure unit psi is usually written in lowercase letters.

Hi @MartinHjelmare, apologies for misinterpreting what PSI means. Looking at the link you posted, there's a link in there pointing to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_quality_index. Also, in the history section of the link you posted it states: "Since 1999, the United States EPA has replaced the Pollution Standards Index (PSI) with the Air Quality Index (AQI) to incorporate new PM2.5 and ozone standards." AQI seems to be a more generic unit and AirVisual does use AQI. Are you ok with this change (keeping AQI) or should we look into reverting?

@chilicheech no worries. I think it sounds good to keep AQI, if that is the more generally used unit. 👍
