Dash to panel stopped working after my system upgraded to gnome 3.38.0

Linux distribution and version
Clear Linux OS; Build ID: 33780

GNOME Shell version
3.38.0

Dash-to-Panel version

Where was Dash-to-Panel installed from?

Same issue on Fedora 33 as well

Same issue on Ubuntu 20.04 focal | GNOME 3.36.4.
Appeared after another update ubuntu.

The relevant commit in gnome-shell removing the _views is https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/commit/548e19a7cdfbc9298b7fd094e10f55a680342d29
I will try to come up with a patch for this, but maybe a developer of dash-to-panel is faster and knows exactly what to do, based on the above commit.

For anyone affected by this, getting the current master installed works, it already has the fix, it just wasn't released yet. It would be great if the devs would push a release, then this wouldn't be necessary.
