Will be ready for the upcoming v8 XMR protocol upgrade ?

XMR suppor pool site says:
Attention Miners warning 
Update your Mining Software until 2018-10-18 to get ready for the upcoming protocol upgrade. If you neglect to update to a v8 capable mining software and/or proxy, you will no longer be able to mine after block 1685555.
