Cant login.

Hi, I'm trying to use this app as a way of learning about hoodie, and I'm a bit confused.
I think I got it installed right - I cloned it into a directory then ran
hoodie new example-mapchat
hoodie start
works, but I can't add a confirmed user - and so I can't log in to see the map.

Any ideas what I've done wrong gratefully received....

(By the way, the my aim is to add some support for webRTC, so you can speak to users based on their map location)

Hey @steely-glint, sorry for the late response. The example-mapchat app is a bit out of date, we might need to update it to the latest versions of hoodie and then maybe fix some code. Can you do some Node.js / JavaScript hacking? Then you should be able to fix it yourself, and send a pull request, maybe? 😈

First, adjust the package.json to the one at https://github.com/hoodiehq/my-first-hoodie/blob/master/package.json. Then see how it goes from there (check browser console). Feel free to ping me if you get stuck.

I'm sorry I can't help you better right now, but too many things I need to focus at the moment. Your help would be much appreciated!
