How should add/remove items work? #82

I know #29 captures the feature request for adding/removing items to the grid . However, I need this functionality (in GridList library only, not jquery) for my use case and would like to know how I should go about implementing this feature myself.

If I can implement it in a way that aligns with the original design of the library, I'm happy to provide a pull request.
