What is the requirement for the gihub auth? I am interested in using this on my local network, why do i need the github oauth enabled. Is there a way to install without it?

GitHub Auth was the easiest way to get the app up and running.

I'm using NextAuth.js which supports many many many different auth providers.

In this case seems like using the vanilla credentials or email will be what you desire.

Happy to accept a PR to add that functionality! No promises if I'll have time to add it myself.
