I have a database with dates in a yyyy-mm-dd format when viewed in dbeaver I am getting the right dates but when viewing the data using the extension the number of items is correct but the dates shifted one day down i.e. the 2019-06-10 in the dbeaver comes up as 2019-06-09 in the extension.

You should try to run your script in psql. It should give you the same result.
