Just rechecked, it works on Firefox only after you press the submit button for a form.

I just tested it on FF 24, looks fine to me. Was there something specific which didn't work?

FYI, firefox doesn't provide an offline event, so we will only detect the browser going offline when a request fails. If the page doesn't make any requests, it won't be detected.
