Run Digest when it has 2 events

Is there a way to make the Digest Agent run not on schedule but when it gets 2 or x number of events?

In my use case, schedule every 1 minute, could theoretically mean that I would get 4 or 6 events merged on the digest. I get these events in pairs and I need them like that, because I have to make comparisons between the values in 2 consequent events.
