Single quote in space names

An admin created a space named "Secretary's Notes" and attempted to add it to the "Default space" list. The name popped up normally but would not allow her to add it to the list. When I removed the single quote, she could ad it. When I added the quote back in and had a look at the "Default space" list, I saw a GUID instead of the name.

By changing the name to "Secretary`s Notes", I've worked around the issue for now.
