"You are not connected to any network" when connected.. #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the program.
2. after su permission is given it says "test test test" under the arp spoof 
button
3. hitting "start" results in "You are not connected to any network!"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect it to detect the wireless network i'm connected to and do its thing.  
Faceniff runs fine on the same network with the same settings


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

The most recent (version 5) on a wifi xoom running 3.1 kernel ver 
2.6.36.3-gc2bee64  android-build@apa28 #1


Please provide any additional information below.

Also had some superuser issues resolved by updating su. Maybe related?
