  1. With the help of this code, SBC-test spline model
  2. With the established process, compare two hierarchical models - gaussian process and spline model
  3. Give example recommendations on calibration

SBC could provide more values for ODE systems, compared to models with explicit densities. Although literature which applied SBC on ODE models is scarce, the following may be a good place to start.

  • poster introducing Michaelis Menten population model (i.e. hierarchical)
  • part2 of the tutorial on ODE models part 1 which suggests applying SBC to ODE model as part 2 preview
  • stan discourse on hierarchical ODE model, also known as monster model
