Hello,
I have a strange problem. When I use quick edit not in my default language in admin panel, my product loses their category and goes automatically into “without category”.
How I can fix this problem? Thank you!.

Can you reproduce this issue on default Wordpress theme (eg Storefront)?

Yes, also with storefront.

Can you reproduce this issue when all other plugins are disabled except WooCommerce, Polylang and Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration?

Yes, it always happens.

What product versions and settings are you using when this issue occurs?

  • PHP: 7.0.33
  • WordPress: 5.3.2
  • WooCommerce: 3.7.0
  • Polylang: [state if using Polylang PRO] 2.6.10 free version
  • Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration: 1.4.3
  • Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Make a quick edit of a category in the products list.
  2. The "filter content by language" in admin bar must not be set to the default language (italian in this case) but to another language.

What I Expected

The change should be applied on the product in all language, as happens when the filter content by language is set to the default language.

What Happened Instead

The product loses its category and goes to "without category".

Hi, I've just been testing this on WP5.4.2 woo4.2.2 polylang 2.7.3 php7.4.2and seems to be working.
It is possible this may have been fixed by updates to Polylang, for example Polylang 2.7 (2020-04-06) contains:
Fix terms not visible in the quick edit when only one language is defined and teh admin language filter is active
(this error report being on 2.6.10)
If you find it is still not working on Polylang 2.7.3+ please reopen
