Currently stx_check_config_files.pro must be run regularly by the user to ensure the configuration files used by the analysis routines are up to date. Suggestion from @DanRyanIrish that it could be included in the setup so that it is run when SSWIDL is started, this would be quicker than calling it every time the conversion routine is called but would not require direct user input.
