Inside the README.md file there is an example of creating a config file -
Is there a significant difference in using https://example.com over https://www.example.com or how does the (www) hostname affect the SEO performance vs (non-www)?
Context
I have just published a marketing website with various pages using next.js pages directory from v12. I haven't configured the domain in any way besides setting up the DNS connection inside the vercel panel. However, somehow the pages are not being detected by google search console at all. I'm currently using the www hostname inside my
next-sitemap.config.js
and the validation process inside google search console have shown no additional result within the span of 1 month. I'm now switching to non-www URL's but I'm still pessimistic. I have done little to none configuration of the domain, url nor hostname without setting up the DNS. If this is a framework issue with next.js please let me know so that I can switch off to a more suitable one immediately.Links
