Not sure if this plugin is dead, but FYI, when I attempt to export to Readwise using the toolbar button I receive the following error:

Export failed with status code: 403

Not sure where to look for more info to provide! I have configured the API key and, just in case, tried generating a new one and using it.

Is this plugin abandoned?

I fixed this in PR #16 and in my fork - https://github.com/ashleyhindle/calibre-plugin-readwise

jus after posting above i am getting this -
