How to import CAD Shapes using a script?

Hey all,

I want to have a lot of CAD files that I want to import into the tonatiuh software. The shape are parts of a helical coil, so the current basic shapes available inside tonatiuh cannot be used. I was planning on creating a script to import these CAD files, but I can't seem to just simply use CreateShape("CAD_Shape"). Is there any way to import CAD shapes via script? thanks!
