Search and Replace in files (Ctrl + Shift + F)

Is it possible to perform a Search/Replace operation through files using the shortcut above?
It seems to work only over open files in the project. Is there any workaround or trick so it searches/replaces in the whole project? (using Remote SSH in VSCode for this but it's too resource-hungry for my needs). Thanks!
