According to this StackOverflow discussion there is a draft proposal to support name, description, timezone and refresh interval. In the meanwhile, there are fields that seem to be widely recognized while not a part of the official standard.

Is any such support planned for ics?

Hi @helgihg !

Right now, we focus on the rfc5545 and not extensions so there is no support planned for those yet.
However, if you look at the documentation i added (only on master for the moment) a section on how to use custom properties.
Is the doc section clear enough ? You might be one of the first to read it so i'm glad to have some feedback on it :)

I'm seeing that the draft made it to a final rfc in 2016 : https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7986
So it might be nice to support it too but it would still be a bit of work and i still other tasks with higher priority.
