When the input lat/lon are in GDA2020 and MGA2020 is the output, and no grid has been selected you get the following popup (even though no transformation is required):
Selecting “OK” will cause GDAy to undertake a transformation such that the output will be in MGA94 (despite MGA2020 being selected). Selecting “Cancel” will provide the expected conversion to MGA2020 coordinates.
This also affects GDA94 lat/lon to MGA94, MGA2020 to GDA2020 lat/lon, and MGA94 to GDA94 lat/lon.
The problem doesn’t appear to occur when a grid has been provided and the popup is not required in these instances as there is no transformation required in the calculation.
