In Add a way for plugins to signal that they've made unsaved changes to a scene, KoBeWi suggested a no-op UndoRedo action to mark the scene as dirty.
Since most scripts will change the scene, we should pass undo state to them to allow them to trigger undo and dirty state.
Maybe we can open an undo action, pass it as a parameter to the script, and close it? That way it's very simple for a script to add undo support.
